“I love my Fit4Tap classes. I’d never been to a tap class before but have found it easy to pick up as the routines are clearly explained. Classes cater for all abilities so I didn’t feel awkward and wasn’t the only beginner in the class. It’s great fun, great exercise and a great workout for the brain, I’ve met some lovely people too. Try it – you have nothing to lose and plenty to gain!” Judith Richardson
“Fit4Tap is the best thing I’ve done in a long time! It’s fun, keeps your brain working and keeps you fit all at the same time. I loved dance classes when I was young, and finding this as an adult is just brilliant. I look forward to it every week!” Lynsey Hayes
“I love going to Fit4Tap! As well as being fun (classes are very friendly), you get a good workout to some great music. It is really uplifting tapping away in unison with the group. Great for Mindfulness too – you really can’t think about anything else apart from the steps – good for switching off and being ‘in the moment’. Come and have a go, you’ll be so glad you did!” Nicky Banin
“I started Fit4Tap as an add-on to my dance fitness regime and it quickly became addictive. I hadn’t tried tap since early childhood but was quickly caught up in the fun of the sessions and soon began to enjoy it very much. Fit4Tap has an infectious style of teaching and I look forward to every class, each of which comprises a clever balance of interesting moves and cardio workout. I can recommend Fit4Tap to anyone, regardless of whether they have tapped before or not.” Nicola Price
“Fit4Tap is a highly sociable dance fitness class that has the benefits of a good physical workout and at the same time is brilliant for your concentration! Having never tap danced before I was unsure as to what to expect, but my instructor soon put me at ease by demonstrating and breaking down the steps and routines fully and the classes feel very relaxed yet fun. It’s also a great way of meeting new friends!” Paula Ball
“Fit4tap was my introduction to tap dancing and I absolutely LOVE it. It’s not only a workout for the body, but for the brain too. The sound of a group “tapping” is incredibly addictive and uplifting, as is learning the steps. My instructor really inspires and unites us all and is responsible for creating a really wonderful group of fun loving, all inclusive ladies.” Mandy Cole
“Whether you’ve tapped before or fancy giving it a try! Come along and try a Fit4tap class. It’s about learning the steps to great music and getting fitter at the same time. If you enjoy danced based classes Fit4Tap is for you!” Bernie Penfold
“I thoroughly enjoyed my Fit4tap classes – an aerobic exercise with tap dance or vice versa depending on how you look at it. I also attend ‘normal’ tap dance classes and find the fit4tap classes helps build up those muscles, and stamina, which helps with my normal tap classes.” Carol Kelman
“I really do love my weekly Fit4Tap class, and come out each week feeling great! As one of Fit4Tap’s older members, the dance steps have helped improve my balance, memory and coordination skills, plus it has taught me how to pick my feet up again!! More importantly, it is a lot of fun, and I have met a lovely group of people.” Ros Croft
“I look forward to Fit4tap each week because I know I am going to get a really good workout in a friendly atmosphere. The dance moves are always fun, and my Fit4Tap instrucor whose infectious enthusiasm lifts the whole class. I prefer Fit4Tap to straightforward exercise/gym because I am learning something new, and so my brain gets some exercise as well as my body.” Barry Cavell
Featured Instructor Testimony – Lucy Fowler
“I first started teaching Fit4Tap as an online class during the COVID-19 lockdown after a few of my friends and clientele expressed an interested in some online classes. Having completed my training earlier in the year but not having set up a physical class yet, Fit4Tap gave me the confidence to go for it and try teaching the Fit4Tap program online… and it’s been a great success!! Fit4Tap online works so well because not an awful lot of space is needed and it can be done in trainers!
With the support and encouragement from Fit4Tap, I now teach 2 online classes a week alongside my other dance and fitness classes. I have people attending from across the country via the zoom platform, who are enjoying keep fit and learning to tap dance. One of these classes is for a Dance school I teach at, where we are planning to run a couple of physical classes at the start of the Autumn Term.
Once again, I cannot express how much fun these classes online have been to teach and seeing the smiles on the faces of my clients at the end makes it so rewarding. Due to demand, I will keep my online classes going alongside my face2face classes which I look forward to teaching again soon!”
